She's always leaving such nice comments on my blog and a couple days ago she tagged me with this award : (edit:) Lori and Barb also just tagged me with this award today!! Thanks gals you are both so kind! Lori has been following my blog I think since back in Dec when I first discovered the Bellas ^_~ and Barb has always been a sweetie, leaving me nice comments on my blog! All three of you are just too sweet!!

Isn't this cupcake gal such a cutie? Thanks Laurel, Lori, and Barb!! I also go this other award while I was on hiatus. Thanks Amber and Barb for being such dears and thinking of me while I was away!

If I get a chance later I'll try and tag some ladies, but if not anyone who wants to be tagged is tagged! Thanks for stopping by!

Perfect Day Papers

Supplies: Perfect Day Paper Pack, Sorbet Ribbon Collection, Chocolate Large Alpha, Chocolate Alpha, and Gratitude Stamp Sets by CTMH; Chipboard Bracket by Scenic Route; Journaling Prompt by My Minds Eye; and Big Brads by American Crafts
This is the first page I created. The page is inspired by a layout design in the recent Scrapbooks Etc. I was watching my friend's daughter flip through the magazine and caught a quick glance at a Braid page. Without seeing it again for reference I just started putting the layout together using what I recalled of the basic design.

Supplies: Perfect Day Paper Pack, Sorbet Ribbon Collection, Chocolate Large Alpha, Chocolate Alpha, Sans Small Alpha, Classmate Alpha, and Gratitude Stamp Sets by CTMH; Chipboard Bracket by Scenic Route; Journaling Prompt by My Minds Eye; and Big Brads by American Crafts
Did you notice something about this page? The base of the layout is exactly the same as the top layout only flipped horizontally. I wanted these two pages to be together in the album but was feeling like just scrapping single page layouts and really had no clue on how to do a second coordinating page. So I copied the first page. This will actually be the lefthand layout. The placing of the photos and different use of titles and journaling make each page different but they coordinate great as I used the same fonts, elements, and base design in each. Anyway, hoping you all have a wonderful Thursday! Thanks for stopping by ^_~

Pez Twins

I remember wanting to get these pez cats a few months back when there were the other hello kitty ones. Well these were the only 2 left and I finally let the girls have them since they were being so good (minus the pez candy). They were so happy that they had twin kitties!
I love getting the fun little flower elements that match the papers because they are so easy to use and are great page poppers. I had the idea of doing a triple flower arrangement like this with these flowers when I bought them but just wasn't sure with what pictures or how I was going to do the rest of the layout. I just kind of threw this one together using the same blocking design I have been into lately. Quick and slick pages right ^_~ This page came together so fast too, I think about 15-20 min from figuring out the design to the end. Thanks for looking and happy Wednesday!

You and Me

This layout is totally lifted from this Pebbles Kit Layout. Pebbles has some great easy/quick layout kits and while I rarely have a use for the particular kits (they just never seem to fit the pictures I have) I do love their very simple approach to scrapbooking. So I lifted the layout to fit with some pics I do have and my own paper and I have to say I think it turned out super cute! Using Tulip again for the background cardstock. It matched these papers so perfectly!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great Tuesday!
