Simple Christmas Cards

This week I decided to do something a little different and not use an image or much stamping for my cards. In fact the only thing stamped is the sentiments :D I used up some various MME scraps to make this tree card. There isn't a whole lot to it, I let the paper do most all the work ^_~ The added challenge this week was to not use any bling or glitter which ended up being really hard since all the stuff I wanted to play with had glitter or shimmer in it, lol. But I did manage to stay away from the glitz :D

I had debated cutting out the snowmen and doing another pieced card like with the trees, but decided that I didn't want to do all that cutting, lol. I used the same little heart theme with the button and many of the same scrap pieces. I'm so used to using stamped images for cards that both of these cards came as quite a challenge, but I like to break out of my own box every once in a while. I hope you enjoy! And don't forget to check out Sparkle's Blog for the challenge and have a lovely Sunday!

Both of these are so cute. And who can blame you for not wanting to cut out the snowmen?
