Supplies : Pattern Paper, Cardstock, Buttons, Waxy Flax, Acrylic shapes, Markers, Say it in Style stamp set by CTMH; Frog image and Sentiment by SU; Penguin unknown; white gel pen by Sakura
Here is the card I created for our brother-in-law to be :D His birthday party is tonight so I was really cutting it close! I used the Good Times paper pack from CTMH to make this card and the others following. I figured I'd need some more unisex birthday cards in the future so I made a few more using some of these darling images that were RAKed to me last year.
Another penguin card! He's so cute! I think I might actually have to save this one for Paul's brother since his b-day is in December ^_~ Penguins always remind me of winter. I used the gel pen on all the cards for just a little highlighting. This was a new challenge for me since it's on animals and I'm really only used to doing this with my bellas!
And here is a frog and sentiment from SU. Doesn't he look like he's ready to party?! I love frogs and so does Paul (something I had totally forgotten until he mentioned it while I was making these!) I will have to remember that when his birthday comes around again because I have the toughest time making cards for him!
This is the last card I made of the bunch and it's actually my favorite (because of the flowers ^_~). I have really been enjoying using these acrylic shapes from CTMH. I hope they come out with them in the regular line in the summer catty! I didn't have another hoppy birthday sentiment for this guy so I just used my generic one. Anyway, hopefully I'll be back later tonight with the girls' finished altered Valentine's boxes. I'm just about done with Cait's and have gotten Audrey's covered now. I can't wait to show you guys, they are turning out so cute! Have a fabulous Friday!
