Stay Warm

It's Sunday and that means another Christmas Card Challenge! This week the added challenge was to use circles in your card and wow was this a challenge for me. I kept trying to make my cards during the week yet I couldn't come up with an idea I was happy with until today. I think I was focusing too hard on the whole circle idea because this morning when I finally gave up on doing a bunch of circles the cards just came together.

Supplies: Pattern Papers by My Minds Eye; Cardstock, Tulip Ink, Sans Small Alpha by CTMH; Ribbon by PI; Thickers Letters Stickers by American Crafts; Sparkle CS from Doodlebug; Brad by Queen Co.; Marvy Snowflake Punch

I had punched out the big striped circles earlier when I was trying to find my mojo (along with a bunch of other circles I ended up not using, lol) and settled on doing some sentiment based cards. The thickers were actually the inspiration for these as I've had these particular ones for a long time and just haven't found a whole lot of scrap pages to use them on. Usually I save these for my pages, but this time I decided to get past my hoarding and use them on some cards :D I did get some more circles in with the dot ribbon and snowmen are made of circles so I think I did alright with the challenge in the end ^_~ Don't forget to visit Sparkle's Blog for the challenge and her darling cards and have a lovely Sunday!!
