Happy Heart Day

Supplies: Pattern Paper by Bo Bunny; Cardstock, Buttons, Acrylic Hearts, and Ink by CTMH; Chipboard Big Heart by Scenic Route; Transparency and File Tab by My Minds Eye; Thickers and Remarks letter stickers by American Crafts; Heart Prints stamp from Papertrey Ink; Staples from office supply store; Embroidery Floss; Scallop Scissors

This is one of my favorites that I made of the bunch! I love this paper, some more darling Bo Bunny, and the fact that they were double sided means that I only used 2 sheets of pattern paper for both of the pages. There was some creative trimming going on as I cut out the pattern paper from behind the photo collage to have the reverse side of the pattern paper to use on the layout for filling in the blank spaces on the black matting and for covering the large chipboard heart. The top pattern paper had the pink dot print on the back and the busy pink flower/heart paper had the white dot/heart paper on the back.

I really love this digital style of collage (though mine isn't digital *sigh* One of these days I'll have a nice photo printer to do that with . . . one of these days, lol), and it fit very well with the size of pictures I had. The acrylic hearts were backed with Tulip cardstock and adhered with liquid glass for some fun dimension and shine. To top off the photo collage I stamped baby hearts across the top with Tulip ink. For the title, I really wanted the heart to stand out so I backed it with this fun flourish from My Minds Eye. All in all a very fun layout to make and I love the result!! I hope you've enjoyed these Valentine layouts :D Have a great weekend and thanks for visiting!

Apple of My Eye

Supplies : Pattern Paper by Sassafras (Serendipity, Scrumptious); Journaling Prompt, Chipboard Border, and Chipboard Subtitle by My Minds Eye; Sheer Dot Paper by K I Memories; Cardstock by CTMH; Glazed Brad by Basic Grey (Urban Prairie); Thickers Letter Stickers by American Crafts; Teacher's Apple stamp set by Papertrey Ink

These papers are so darling, just like these adorable pictures of Audrey in her favorite apple shirt! The title was inspired by her shirt and the little apples on the paper. I had a lot of fun creating this layout as it was one of those where everything seemed to just fall together naturally. The paper colors matched the pictures as well as the designs, I didn't have too many pictures so the paper got to be showcased, and I even had a decent sized journaling spot! A cute easy layout, just the way I like it!! The journaling is about how Audrey is so cute that sometimes I just want to gobble her up (don't think I haven't tried ^_~)!! This was one of my favorite outfits on her! I miss doing these meatballs with her hair too. Her bangs are long enough to do it again now, though lately she loves having her hair up in a pony tail (she has some darling hair ties with flowers, cupcakes, etc.) and a head band (she also has a bunch of cute ones in these too). Anyhoo, I hope you enjoy and have a great Thursday!

All U Need Is . . .

Supplies : Paper by Bo Bunny; Cardstock, Chipboard Scallop Corner, and Buttons by CTMH; Heart Chipboard by Scenic Route; Transparency Flourish by My Minds Eye; Thickers letter stickers by American Crafts; and Waxy Flax

This is such a sweet layout! I loved the colors in these papers and had a really hard time cutting them up because they are double sided and both sides just happen to be darling designs, lol! I opted to trim out the title to a border which is a style I don't really use, but it fit great with this page. Just a very simple quartet of photos of Caitlyn after getting home from school with her Valentines from class. I kept the layout very simple to show off the papers and pictures. The journaling is about how excited Caitie was and how special she felt! Have a happy Wednesday and thanks for visiting!

So Lucky to have You

Supplies : Pattern Papers from Sassafras, Making Memories, Collage Press, and P Inc.; Chipboard from Scenic Route (hearts) and My Minds Eye (text elements); Brads from Basic Grey; Sparkly Porcupine from Colorbok; Thickers letter stickers by American Crafts

I was so excited to use some of my Sassafras papers! I had gotten the heart print and the animal print last month and wanted something fun to use it on. These pictures of Audrey along with the #10 Inspired Blueprints sketch were the perfect match to use my papers with! The journaling is about how much of a girly girl Audrey is. As you can see I was still on a busy page kick when I made this one, but I adore how it turned out! The colors are so yummy and they liven up the pictures so much :D I love that big 5x7 of Audrey's smile. I know I'm biased but I think my girls are just the most darling things in the world!!! It's not technically a Valentine page, but it does have plenty of hearts and things I love about her in my journaling ^_~ Anyhoo, enjoy and have a terrific Tuesday!

From the Heart

Supplies: Pattern Paper from Sassafras, My Minds Eye, and some other scraps I can't remembers; Buttons from CTMH and My Minds Eye; Border from Sassafrass; Cardstock from CTMH; Chipboard Hearts from Scenic Route; Letter stamps (Friendship) from CTMH; Thickers Puffy Letter Stickers from American Crafts; Staples from office supply store

It's the last week of February and my girls are still talking about Valentine's Day, lol. And naturally that has me on a Valentines kick as well. Yesterday I got to spend half the day with my dear friend Julie and I got 3 pages completely done and 3 more mostly done! So I'm going to have some fun layouts to share with you this week :D This layout is the busiest which is why I'm starting with it first. I've noticed that I tend to make busier layouts when I begin and then get simpler as I go along during a crop. These silly pictures are from last year, when Caitie and Audrey were making Cait's first Valentines for class which was definitely a learning experience, lol!! My favorite part of the layout is the chipboard heart and buttons. Anyway, have a marvelous Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Sparkly Christmas Cards

Supplies: Pattern Paper (stripe and dots) by My Minds Eye; Amore paper, Cardstock, Brads, Ink, Extreme Alpha and Let it Snow stamp sets by CTMH; White glitter cardstock by Doodlebug

It's week 12 in Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge! And I finally got my cards done before Sunday instead of on Sunday, lol. This week the added challenge was a sketch which made creating these cuties a flash! I used some very glittery MME paper from the Laundry line (both the dot and the stripe) and then the white snowflake is punched from glittered cardstock :D They are definitely sparkly cards!

The second card I wanted to try and do a little different and used this darling sentiment stamp from an old CTMH set. Well, old as in it was one of the first acrylic stamp of the months :D The pink is actually paper from the Amore paper pack from CTMH as well. It's soft design and lovely pinkish red went perfectly with the MME scraps I had! Anyway, don't forget to visit Sparkle's Blog for the challenge and her cards and have a lovely Sunday!
